Our aims and values

Sikhs for Labour is a Friends Group of the Labour Party and exists to promote the shared values of the Labour Party and the Sikh community through:

· Being a voice for Sikh interests within the Labour Party;

· Promoting understanding of issues of concern to Sikhs

· Participating in policy making within the Labour Party;

· Encouraging Sikhs to join and participate in the Labour Party

· Increasing electoral support for the Labour Party amongst Sikhs;

· Supporting and promoting Sikh representation within the Labour Party and at local, regional and national elections.
